For nearly two years, Madison Alley assisted EyeWonder on strategic capital transactions that enhanced and ultimately realized premium value for the Company.

Madison Alley began advising EyeWonder on bank credit and term loan financing by managing a competitive process of leading technology lenders.

In parallel, Madison Alley began leading an initiative to identify, pursue and acquire international strategic acquisitions in order to capture market share in Europe and Latin America.

As EyeWonder grew, its margins increased and the pipeline of acquisition opportunities also developed. EyeWonder was gaining traction as a rapidly emerging provider of rich media and video ad solutions.

Madison Alley seized the opportunity by identifying a certain private equity buyer that was eager to acquire the Company. It offered to acquire EyeWonder for over $100 million, 25% above any prior offer.

As Madison Alley managed deal discussions and due diligence progressed with the private equity firm, Limelight Networks (NASD: LLNW), the rich media network partner for EyeWonder, entered.

Limelight envisioned value in leveraging its high capacity network backbone, vertically integrating upwards into the rich media and video advertising sector, and combining capabilites to offer rich data analytics products.

For nearly two years, Madison Alley assisted EyeWonder on strategic capital transactions that enhanced and ultimately realized premium value for the business.

The parties agreed on terms and Madison Alley led due diligence to ensure viability of Limelight as a going concern, as a strategic partner and that the share proceeds would retain value.

The final purchase price for EyeWonder was $110 million paid at closing plus additional performance incentives. The deal was closed in less than six months after it was announced.

Shares in Limelight Networks have since risen dramatically.
