CEO Robert Pickering leads Strategic Growth Transactions; Madison Alley acts as Advisor
Robert Pickering joined LBi in early 2002 as CEO. Through 2008, Mr. Pickering grew LBi from US $60 million in revenue into the largest independent digital marketing and technology agency with over US $200 million of revenue.
As CEO of LBi, Mr. Pickering acquired 12 digital service agencies in eight countries with competencies that span the digital services spectrum (social media, mobile, search, creative design, etc.) to complement strong organic growth in key European and US markets.
Madison Alley advised Mr. Pickering on LBi’s first acquisition in the UK setting the momentum for LBi to ultimately become the largest digital full service agency in the UK, based in London.
Madison Alley also advised LBi on the acquisition of a digital agency in Atlanta.
Madison Alley supported LBi with other strategic activities including the resolving of real estate issues providing financing for future acquisitions.
Publicis Groupe acquired LBi for $540 million in 2013.
